Illustrations
A picture speaks a thousand words, and they are an excellent way of communicating quickly and effectively with your audience. When we’re designing for print or web projects we use a mixture of client photographs and stock images to create the perfect visual to work with the media.
However, there are certain things that pictures can’t do, and in those situations you need an illustration to fill that gap.
An illustration can be technical, possibly to show a process or a concept, or non-technical, maybe to create an atmosphere or to work with a brand theme and specific audience. We’ve used a number of illustrations in our own materials and these work well to provide a ‘different’ feel that is necessary in some situations.
