Supporting the Local Community Matters

 

As a Beverley based company, we recognise the importance of giving back and supporting the community that has helped shape our business.

Supporting local causes is our way of saying thank you, but these are also organisations that are very close to our hearts that we’re pleased to be able to help.

By partnering with organisations that make a difference, we contribute to improving the lives of people in our community. Whether it’s members of the team helping personally, or directly from Weborchard, we are proud to be part of initiatives that create positive change.

There are many things we get involved with, but these are the main organisations we support:

Abbie’s Fund

Abbie’s Fund is a local charity that supports bereaved families in numerous ways after the loss of baby or child. Initially providing memory boxes for parents at Hull Women and Childrens Hospital, their services have expanded over the years to help families with child loss and children with sibling and parent loss through different departments at Hull Royal Infirmary. Without Abbie’s Fund, there would be no support in these areas, so it plays a pivotal role in helping local families through extremely difficult times.  Find out more at www.abbiesfund.co.uk

Tickton Warriors

Tickton Warriors are a local girl’s football team sponsored by Weborchard for kit, clothing, and other items. This helps the girls come together as a team and play in the league, continuing to improve and evolve through every match. It is great that we can play a part to make the sport more inclusive by encouraging girls to play, get involved, keep fit and be part of a team in a traditionally male focused environment. Well done to the whole team for their continuing positive attitude and teamwork which is infectious – GO WARRIORS!

Tickton Primary School

Tickton Primary is an excellent local school providing a high standard of education and support for children in the community. We’re all very aware of the struggles schools have with funding and budgets, so being able to help them in our area of expertise; website design, and the subsequent running and maintenance of their website is a great way to relieve some of the financial pressure, so we’re pleased to be involved with this great team.  Visit their website at www.ticktonprimary.co.uk
